Business Unit
This unit is intended to contribute to the development of the knowledge economy of the Upper Galilee in Migal's areas of activity (life sciences, environmental sciences and agriculture).
The unit works to develop centers of excellence which constitute a source of attraction for scientists, engineers and other academics and their families.
On the basis of these principles, commercial businesses have been established in the Galilee based on knowledge created at Migal.
The implementation arms of the business unit include Gavish-Galilee Bioapplications Ltd. − for the commercialization of patents, Center for the Development of Plant Essences for Medicinal Purposes, and others, in addition to service laboratories for industry in the fields of analytic chemistry and microbiology.
