MSc Programs

Master's students are doing their research at Migal in cooperation with other research institutes, such as Hebrew University, Faculty of Agriculture, Tel Aviv University, the Technion, Haifa University and Tel Hai Academic College.

 
The following are some of the research projects being conducted in the Migal laboratories:
 
  • The effect of manganese superoxide dismutase (MnSOD) on lignin peroxidase production by "phanerochaete chrysosporium
  • The pioneer round of translation and MHC-I antigen presentation
  • Environmental friendly treatment of plant growth inhibitors against the pathogen psylla insect Cacopsylla bidens
  • A study on the effects of Ethylene inhibitor – 1-MCP on storage duration of Mango (Mangifera indica) Keitt cultivar
  • Self-compatibility fertilization in loquats
  • Characterization of antifungal activity in FI2 bacterium
  • Biodegradation of organic contaminants adsorbed to organic clay
  • Heterologous expression of the isozyme lignin peroxidase H2 of Phanerochaete chrysosporium in Picchia Pastoris
