 Igal Bar-Ilan Ph.D

Igal got his first-degree (B.A.) in Chemistry in 1994, and in 1996 he gained his M.Sc in Inorganic & Analytical Chemistry in the Hebrew University. He has been working in MIGAL-Research Institute in Kiryat Shmona since 1986, and has been living in Korazim (near Rosh Pina in the north of Israel).
He taught Chemistry in high school in Jerusalem from 1994 - 1996 and in Kefar-Blum from 1996 - 1998. He has been teaching three different courses; “Instrumental Chemistry”, “Technical Analysis” and “Chromatography” in the Tel-Hai Technologic and Academic College since 1988.
Igal has been managing the Service Chemical and Microbial Laboratories since 1986 (12 – 15 workers); and has been in charge of the purchases of chemicals, equipment and instruments of Migal’s laboratories as well as of chemical and radiation safety.
The Ph.D. degree was awarded to him on December 2004, from the Hebrew University While working in Migal he took part in many researches that included developing of analytical methods, analysis of chemical components in various matrixes for environmental monitoring, and food and agricultural developments. At the same time he published a number of reports and articles in the above fields. In the last ten years he has participated in the foundation of several laboratories all over Israel.
