On Sunday, 5th of September, 2004, Prof. Dunstan M. Wai, Country Manager, Malawi, The World Bank, and Mr. Shem Migot-Adholla, representative from the World Bank in Kenya, visited MIGAL, accompanied by Dr. Joseph Shevel, President of the Galilee College.
The delegation met with researchers at MIGAL and received information on the activities, mainly on agricultural applied research and the regional role of MIGAL in agricultural and economic development. We discuss options for collaboration in Africa in developing demonstration farms.
