On Thursday, 22nd of July, 2004, A delegation from Chile with representative from the Ministry of Science and Technology visited MIGAL, following a visit of the General Director of the Ministry of Science and Technology in Chile. In addition to representative of the Ministry and the Embassy of Chile in Israel the delegation included: Dr. Carlos Isaacs Bornand, Universidad de la Frontera, Jorge Petit-Breuilh and Emilio Gueria CEO of Vitrogen S.A.
The delegation met with researchers at MIGAL and received information on the activities and we discuss options for collaboration.

On Thursday, July 29th 2004, the Knesset member, Mr. Micael Eitan, the chairman of the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee (which deals with the following issues: the constitution, the basic laws, legislation and procedures of justice) visited MIGAL with Mr. Sami Malul, Deputy Mayor of the city of Kiryat-Shmona. Mr. Eitan already visited MIGAL as the Minister of Science and Technology a few years ago. During the meeting we presented the achievements of MIGAL in the last years and the regional implications.

On Monday, 2nd of August, around 40 people from the Jewish Agency, The Israel Department, most of them are Regional Managers and some responsible for the Absorption Center, visited MIGAL. They heard about the research activities in MIGAL as well as on the education activities and visited some laboratories (accompanied by Olim who were absorbed at MIGAL).
