The Minister of Science and Technology, Mr. Modi Zandberg and the Ministry’s General Director Ms. Tali Rosenbaum visited MIGAL on September 9th.

MIGAL is one of the Regional R &D Centers of the Ministry.

The Ministry is supporting and involved in the development of MIGAL for more than a decade.
For the visit we prepared an exhibition of the newest development of agriculture products in Galilee and the latest research in Biotechnology made in MIGAL. During the visit the visitors met several researches at their laboratory and discussed the latest developments.
The Association for the Advancement of Science Education in Galilee prepared a small exhibition of their activity and presented their involvement in Science Education in Galilee (which the Ministry is also supporting).
Later in the visit Mr Haim Barbivai, the Mayor of Kiryat-Shmona, and Mr. Aharon Valenci, the Chairman of regional Council Galil Elion, joined the meeting and discussed with the Minister and the General Director the contribution of MIGAL to the region.
