THE GENERAL DIRECTOR OF THE MINISTRY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, MS. TALI ROSENBAUM, VISIT THE NORTHERN R&D RESEARCH SITES ON OCTOBER 17TH.

The visit included the following sites:

• The Mushroom farm of Davidian family in Zarit, Western Galilee.
• Tree plantations covered with colored nets experiments in Kibbutz Baram.
• The center for Integrated Pest management (IPM) in Mattityahu Research Farm (high altitude)
• Tree plantations research farm in the Hula Valley (low altitude).

Throughout the visit of the executive was accompanied by the following officials:
Prof. Dan Levanon – the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Agriculture
Mr. Uri Dorman – Director of Northern R&D
Directors of research Departments and researches of Northern R&D.
During the visit Ms. Tali Rosenbaum expressed her support in the R&D activity in the region. She added that the Ministry of Science and Technology has serious intentions to participate and take active role in this development

The Minister receive explanations on the activities of the Association for Science Education.
