On Wednesday, October 22nd, the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor - Dr. Eli Ofer and an expert in Biotechnology of the Ministry - Dr. Ora Dar visited Migal.

During the visit they made a tour in the laboratories where they met Migal’s researchers and some M.Sc. and Ph.D. students who are doing their degree at Migal. They discussed with the board of Migal and the director of the Technological Incubator – “Meytav” how to advance and develop the Life Sciences industries in the Galilee.

On Tuesday, October 28th, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Mines of Manitoba, Canada, the Honourable MaryAnn Mihychuk, visited Migal.

She was accompanied by Ms Lisa Lewis, Executive Partner of Beyond-Excellence, as an IT expert, and Ms. Leslie Wilder from the “Partnership 2000” of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The goal of the meeting was to coordinate collaboration between Manitoba and the industries and research institutes in the Galilee, mainly in Biotechnology. We expect the continuation of the discussions and the development of a joint project with Manitoba.
