The Night of Scientists is an annual event initiated and funded by the European Union, with the support of the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology and managed by MadaTech, and is held every year in September at science museums, research institutes, research and science institutions and universities throughout Europe and Israel.
This year Migal will hold the event in spite of the challenging security situation. The event will take place at the Lake House Hotel in Tiberias on September 26th starting at 4:00 p.m., and will be open to residents evacuated from the Galilee area and for the first time Tiberias residents will also be able to enjoy a variety of science activities.

On this evening, lectures, laboratory tours, scientific workshops, science demonstrations and experiments, performances, science activities and face-to-face meetings with scientists and researchers are held in science centers all over the country.
All the activities on the Night of the Scientists are free of charge, and adapted to a variety of ages from children to adults.
