The Hübner Lab at Migal – Galilee Research institute – Israel offers a bioinformatician position in plant domestication genomics. The project involves analysis of next generation sequencing data using advanced computational tools to elucidate the domestication history of several plant species. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in population genomics data analysis and bioinformatics to join this exciting project.
The ideal candidate should have a relevant research experience in genomics, bioinformatics, population genetics, comparative genomics, or domestication genomics. Although the objectives and direction of the project are already established, the candidates are encouraged to bring their own unique direction and ideas to the project.
The position is open for all academic levels for at least two years, subject to review after the first year. Preferred start date: the sooner the better.
