Postdoc position in Directed Evolution of Enzymes research group

Postdoc position is available now in the research group led by  Livnat Afriat-Jurnou

The Lab focuses on understanding the molecular mechanism involved in enzyme evolution using phylogenetic, structural, and biochemical characterization to gain insights into these mechanisms.

Specifically, we investigate enzymes involved in disturbing chemical signaling in the microbial world and enzymes that degrade man-made pesticides and plastic.

We implement this knowledge to use directed enzyme evolution to design new tailor-made enzymes with improved characteristics that can or healthy environmental and agricultural applications.
