The Hübner Lab at the Galilee Research institute (MIGAL) Israel offers a post-doctorate position in plant domestication genomics. The project involves analysis of next generation sequencing data using advanced computational tools to elucidate the domestication history of wheat and barley. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in population genomics data analysis and bioinformatics to join this exciting and high impact
The ideal candidate should have a relevant research experience in genomics, bioinformatics, population genetics, comparative genomics, or domestication genomics. Although the objectives and direction of the project are already established, the candidates are encouraged to bring their own unique direction and ideas to the project.
The post-doc position duration is two years, subject to review after the first year.
