Head of the Applied Research Unit
From 1996 – 2007, Professor Levanon served as Israel’s Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and was responsible for policy setting and management of Israel's agricultural and food production research. He earned his Ph.D. in Agriculture from the Hebrew University.
