  1. Improving frost tolerance in Avocado orchards using frost mitigation techniques. 
  2. Identifying the physiological factors involved in frost tolerance and sensitivity in Avocado.
  3. Development of frost-tolerant Avocado plants. 
  4. Development of Avocado tissue culture. 
  5. Development of new high-quality Avocado varieties.
  6.  Improving yield and lowering alternate bearing in Avocado. 
  7. Development of Quinoa as a new field crop in Israel.
