The Office of the Scientific Director is responsible for the full implementation of the Institute’s policy, defined in the scientific statute and approved by the Board of Directors upon the recommendation of the Supreme Scientific Council.

The Scientific Director supervises and coordinates all scientific activities related to research and research staff at MIGAL including department heads, senior staff scientists, researchers and research fellows as well as the Research Grants and Projects office. 

These activities include, among others, all academic, administrative, ethical, funding, infrastructure, intellectual property and development aspects of the research. 

The Research Grants and Projects Office provides comprehensive information services and support for those applying for funding opportunities, as well as administrative services for already granted projects to all scientific and Research and Development staff of the institute.
