Lab Manager – For The Applied Crop Physiology Under Climate Change Laboratory
The Applied Crop Physiology Laboratory at Northern R&D is seeking a dynamic, independent, and highly motivated Lab Manager with a passion for science to help lead cutting-edge research.
Our laboratory integrates a wide range of advanced approaches, from molecular biology, biochemistry, and microscopy to plant physiology and large-scale field experiments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, lead, and execute complex laboratory and field experiments.
• Develop, implement, and optimize new research protocols.
• Perform bioinformatics analyses and work with large datasets.
• Mentor and support students and research trainees in the laboratory.
• Coordinate ongoing activities with suppliers, companies, and research partners in Israel and abroad.
Requirements:
• M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences (Plant Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field) – required.
• Strong hands-on experience with advanced research methods and analytical techniques in the life sciences.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in scientific writing in Hebrew and English – a significant advantage.
• Experience working with Big Data and bioinformatics analysis – an advantage.
