MIGAL is proud to be offering a wide range of opportunities for higher education, and research training through its close collaborations with universities and colleges in the Galilee region and all over Israel.

The institute’s main partnership is with the nearby Tel-Hai Academic College. The special relationship with MIGAL has allowed Tel-Hai’s Faculty of Science and Technology in Tel-Hai to establish a Master's Program in Biotechnology approved by Israel’s Planning and Budgeting Committee and Council for Higher Education. Tel-Hai undergraduate students conduct their final projects at MIGAL, under the supervision of scientists.

MIGAL researchers are the instructional backbone of the faculty departments of Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Nutrition Sciences, and Food Sciences. The majority of teaching assistants in the classrooms and laboratories of these departments are students who participate in research at MIGAL.

Prospective MS and PhD students, as well as postdoctoral research candidates should contact the research labs they are interested in directly to enquire about specific opportunities for post-graduate and postdoctoral research.
