Who are you and what do you do at MIGAL?

I was born in Leningrad, in the Former Soviet Union and at the age of 12, I immigrated to Israel with my parents.

I’m a postdoctoral fellow at The Department of Molecular and Computational Biosciences and Biotechnology under the management of Dr. Chen Katz and have been focused mainly on vaccine development in recent years.

I live in the village of Kidmat Zvi in the Golan Heights with my husband Evgeny and my son Eitan. I love challenge-oriented sport and hiking.

What made you choose MIGAL?

I was attracted by the opportunity MIGAL gave me to fulfill my passion for applied research. The incredible location of the institute and the young and dynamic team that works here were also factors in my decision.

Something surprising that people don’t know about MIGAL?

There is much effort put in building a social atmosphere in the institute with team-building activities and employees constantly helping each other.
