Prof. Schuster is a chaired biology professor (emeritus) of the Technion with more than 100 published scientific papers and a long record of successful project collaborations with MIGAL. At the Technion, he served from 2012-2015 as Executive VP for Academic Affairs, from 2008-1012 as Dean of the Faculty of Biology, and from 2005-2008 as Vice Dean of the Jacobs Graduate School.
