Circadian Physiology Lab at Tel-Hai College & MIGAL

Exciting Opportunity: Join the Circadian Physiology Lab at Tel-Hai College & MIGAL – Galilee Research Institute!

We're seeking a motivated individual for a three to four-year doctoral or postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Dr. Roee Gutman. As part of a project funded by The Israel Science Foundation, you'll delve into the metabolic cost of entrainment of the circadian clock under obesogenic conditions (See our latest publication https://doi.org/10.1080/07420528.2020.1869029).

Explore the responses of wild-type mice to different diets and light regimens, assessing parameters related to energy and circadian homeostasis. The successful candidate will lead the research, publish impactful papers, develop synergistic projects, and mentor graduate students.

Requirements include an MSc. or Ph.D. in a relevant field and proficiency in collecting and analyzing indirect calorimetry and locomotor activity circadian data. This full-time position, with the potential for renewal, starts mid-2024.

To apply, send a PDF letter of interest, CV, and references to Dr. Roee Gutman (roeeg@migal.org.il).
