Postdoc position in the development of new immuno-gene therapies

Postdoc position in the development of new immuno-gene therapies is available now

The Immunology Laboratory at MIGAL – Galilee Research Institute is located in Kiryat Shmona, Israel.

The Lab has been engaged in the development of new immuno-gene therapy platforms for the treatment of a variety of human diseases and is run by Prof. Gideon Gross, who created the first chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) more than three decades ago and by Dr. Hadas Weinstein-Marom, PI.

A major arm of our research focuses on adoptive T cell therapy of cancer, developing new logic gated strategies, genetic switches and composite adjuvants for accurate, selective and effective immunotargeting of tumors. In another arm we genetically engineer regulatory T cells and specifically reprogram these cells for the treatment of selected inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.

For candidates from India: An Indian postdoc is a central member of our team for several years now and a vibrant community of Indian postdocs is already active in MIGAL and the nearby region.
