What began as a wartime initiative supporting seven farmers in northern Israel is now expanding into a national model for regenerative, climate-smart agriculture

A historic milestone for the North - Tel-Hai becomes a University. Starting next academic year, Tel-Hai will officially become a university. This is far more than a change in title- it is a strategic leap for higher education, research, and regional development in Northern Israel.

MIGAL and Tel-Hai have been selected to lead Israel’s national agricultural data infrastructure, with the support of an investment from the Israel Innovation Authority. The initiative is designed to accelerate AI-driven innovation in agriculture.

An impressive delegation from Germany arrived in Israel, organized by ELNET, with the aim of fostering collaboration and initiatives in research and innovation. The delegation met senior officials from the Israel Innovation Authority and representatives of MIGAL.

At MIGAL, we are proud to be leading the first Living Lab of the MissionSoil initiative in Israel, a significant step in advancing soil health and sustainability. The Israeli Living Lab consists of 20 demo sites across Israel.

Israel’s Maariv and Ha’aretz newspapers posted articles on MIGAL’s resilience during the current war, with development continuing full-speed-ahead despite a disbursed research force and continued rockets in Israel’s north.
